I don't get why everyone hates Rachel. It's not like she hates Annabeth or tried to hurt her or anything. Percy would have never chosen Rachel over Annabeth anyways (unless Rick lost his mind...well, more than he already has)

Same here (kind of) I dislike Rachel until Percabeth was official. I went back and reread Rachel parts and my reaction is:
Me: AW! Rachel, you're so funny...
Me: AW! Rachel, you're so artsy...
Me: AW! Rachel, it's okay who your father is - it's not your fault.

And my reactions used to be:
Me: Go die, Rachel.
